What is {Project Name}?
It is a mobile platform designed to connect local food producers, restaurants, and consumers in a single ecosystem. Users can discover fresh ingredients, order meal kits, and track the origin of their food directly from local suppliers. The app also includes features for restaurants to manage inventory and streamline orders from multiple sources.
Challenges and Solutions
Local food suppliers and restaurants had varying inventory systems, making it difficult to unify product availability in real-time.
We built a strong backend system that connects all supplier data, updates inventory in real-time, and predicts stock needs to prevent running out or having too much.
The app needed to work flawlessly on both iOS and Android while maintaining a native feel, especially for interactive features like order tracking and meal customization.
We used Compose Multiplatform to write most of the app’s UI and logic once, sharing it across platforms, while applying small platform-specific adjustments where needed. This ensured fast performance and a consistent user experience on both iOS and Android.
Handling sensitive consumer and supplier data required strict adherence to privacy laws and secure payment processing.
We integrated end-to-end encryption, secure payment gateways, and GDPR-compliant data storage practices, giving both users and suppliers confidence in the app’s security.
