The client’s macOS app was built on QT, causing slow performance, difficult maintenance, and limiting the implementation of new forensic investigation features.
We mapped out all app functionalities, designed a modern architecture from scratch, and rebuilt the app using SwiftUI. This ensured faster development cycles, better maintainability, and a modern macOS experience.
The app needed a custom system to extract and analyze forensic files quickly and reliably. Optimizing this was essential for digital investigations.
We developed Python scripts integrated with Swift to efficiently access the file system, enabling accurate detection and extraction of suspicious files for forensic analysis.
Delivering the fully migrated and functional app within 6 months was crucial to support the client’s business goals and meet market demands.
