What Is the Crypto Trading Platform?
The project is a cryptocurrency trading platform with an existing web product. Mobile development initially focused on an iOS application before the project moved toward React Native.
The change reflected the opportunity to reuse parts of the existing web implementation and work with the company’s established web expertise. Aetherius contributed to React Native feature development, using AI-generated code as a starting point for implementation and making manual corrections and additions where needed.

Challenges and Solutions
The project initially followed an iOS development approach, while the company already had a web product and a strong web team. The mobile technology choice needed to account for those existing resources and opportunities for reuse.
The project adopted React Native as its mobile direction. Our engineer contributed to feature implementation within that environment, using the existing project structure to guide development.
New functionality needed to fit the structure of the React Native project. Generated code still required engineering attention before it could become part of the implementation.
Our engineer used Junie to generate code based on the existing project structure and requested functionality. The engineer then worked through the output, making manual changes and completing the parts that required further implementation.
AI-generated changes needed to be easy to inspect and run during development. The engineer needed to understand the output and retain control over the implementation as it evolved.
Junie was used within Android Studio, allowing the engineer to inspect generated changes and run code on iOS and Android through the development environment. This supported an iterative workflow in which code generation was followed by engineering review and manual refinement.
