The client wanted to develop iOS and Android mobile apps based on their existing online shop solution. The goal was to provide a user-friendly mobile shopping experience aligned with their current e-commerce platform. This project aimed to increase the client's revenue by addressing the growing number of customers who prefer shopping via mobile apps.
Challenges and Solutions
We needed to quickly catch up with all the existing web app features and developmobile app versions while ensuring we didn’t miss any project deadlines.
We prioritized the most important webshop features first, ensuring the mobile app included high-value functionalities within the given timeframe.
It was crucial to make sure that both iOS and Android apps were aligned and offered the same mobile app functionalities, providing a consistent user experience across platforms.
Through daily meetings, constant communication with the client’s team, and structured SCRUM sessions with clear planning, we ensured both iOS and Android apps stayed fully aligned.
They wanted a functionality that displays detailed product information, including potential chemicals, ensuring the mobile shopping app met GDPR compliance and transparency standards.
To implement this feature effectively, we first refactored a significant portion of the related code, which allowed for a smooth and efficient integration into the mobile shopping app.
